Sengoku Jiman Ramen in Bunkyo

First visit. Got the 'basic' shoyu-tonkotsu soup and (forgot the name) lots of meat - not quite normal chashu. Soup was good - not quite the best. A bit on the salty side and a little simple. The spicy miso added some dimension. The thick noodles were good - you have a choice of thick or thin. The meat was sort of more like beef jerky type than the typical chashu - a bit dry textured but flavorful. Lots of other things on the menu so worth a few visits probably.

It is a ramen shop that locals like. 680 round can eat the delicious taste of lard soup. If you pass by, you will want to eat it again. It is convenient to have a speculative ordering machine.

There’s a good range of ramen, from the standard ramen which was great value at only 680 yen, to the kogashi negi ramen 🔥 which I enjoyed immensely. I’d walked past this shop a few times and finally caved. I’m glad I did, it was delicious!

My favourite in long years with stable taste of TONKOTSU

I know this shop before their opening day. The tast changed a little bit compare to their early days, but it's still really nice. If you come to Sugamo you have to go here.

There are few places in tokyo with real tonkotsu ramen as good as this.

Tasty Japanese Ramen. Around 12:00-13:00 very crowded. If you have time, pls avoid this time.👍

Cheap but good. For 680 yen you get a bowl of ramen. Nothing really special about the ramen.

Tokyo soy sauce pork bone ramen.It is gorgeous with the addition of 5 pieces of "Choshu Menda" and "Horohocha Chashu".The soup that goes well with medium-thick noodles has a fluffy texture, and it has a salty and sour taste.Ajitama is soy sauce-flavored.In the olden days, we stood there and killed trees, but now we also have seats on the second floor.(*0ω0)
